I became a bona fide househead the day one of my buddies brought me to the Powerplant in Chicago in 1983. Frankie Knuckles and Mike Winston served up some of the best music I had ever heard and the crowd was wonderful. It was church every Friday night. People from all walks of life coming together in celebration of the music. Friday night belonged to Frankie and Saturday was for Ron Hardy at the Music Box. I've been playing music since those days and "soulful" house is my first love but I also appreciate gospel house, tech house, progressive house, tribal house, acid jazz and neo-soul. I'm like a house junkie trying to recapture the feelings I had when I first walked into the Powerplant, The Music Box, Sound Factory Bar, Shelter NYC and Body & Soul. I love house music!

Now growing up in the southwest which had the great obsession, fantazia, events in 92, 93, 94 what would now be thought of as old skool. dj sy, easygroove, ellis dee, ratpack, vibes to name a few were the djs that i used to listen to. i used to go around buying all the tape packs from the latest events. nowadays ive got my own decks and love to do a bit of mixing just as a hobby really. I love deep house music, especially soulful and deep afro. 1st thing I do when I awake in the morning is switch on my radio and play some of my favourite house jams to start off my day. My favourite track at the moment is by Reel people ft Rocco - Star and my favourite Dj internationally is Dennis Ferrer... My favourite producer currently is Rocco, that man is on another class. Locally my favourite dj is well known world wide and respected by many, Black Coffee, never disappoints my soul with good jams that I can dance or relax and lsiten too, his one of the best in the world in my books. Last but not least, this is a great site for us house lovers...
